There must be a reason why things pop up again after years. Maybe somebody realizes things didn’t change and wants to show this to the world. This is one of the things that resurfaced  the last weeks on the internet that shows that we still have a very long way to go to reach equality. Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy, Firefly and loads of other series, where women are everything: strong, independent, passionate, vulnerable, intelligent, funny and the men characters don’t feel threatened in their manlyhood because of this, gave a speech in 2006 after receiving the award from Equality Now. That’s 12 years ago. If I see what is featuring now in the movie theaters here, I don’t feel a lot has changed either. We definitely need more filmmakers like Joss…
